Strategy for alien attack or contact?

i am sure theres a strategy for everything , natural disasters and intercontinental nuclear wars , but what if aliens , turned up , if they was non aggressive am sure all lines of communication would be used , but if they was combatants , , is there a UN , NATO OR OTHER GLOBAL INITIATIVE , AND WOULD WOULD LEAD THE ATTACK
