How to become showbiz material?

I was born to a poor couple as their first child, and they weren't able to put me in any sorts of lessons, but they didn't mind, they weren't very interested in the arts. They can't sing, don't dance, and never act. So, I have no idea why I am so fond of the creative arts. Through 8 years, my family kept getting richer; my dad got promoted to a better job, and my parents had their 4th child- my youngest sister. They dress her in designer brands and give her opportunities that I never had. They put her in a ballet school at the age of four because they had spare money, so in her future it is possible for her to have a dancing career. I really liked watching her ballet concert, so I begged my parents to let me go to the ballet school as well. They let me, but according to my research, it is impossible for me to become a professional ballet dancer since I didn't start lessons when I was little. I was put out, and worked harder during my lessons. One day, I told my parents about my dreams of breaking into showbiz: they scoffed at me. They told me that I should focus on dreams that were possible. I was heartbroken, there was nothing else I wanted to do in my future. I searched up acting and singing lessons on the Internet, and sites told me that I have to have had numerous lessons to be a professional singer/ actress on something big and glamorous like broadway. My parents laughed and told me that millions and millions of people try out for broadway, and they all have had professional training for years, I would be no competition, and that it is impossible for me. I am already 13, and everyone tells me it's too late. So will I never get a choice? Was it supposed to be a choice my parents make when I was still little? Please, tell me the truth- is it impossible and too late for me to pursue my dreams, or is there something I can do to follow my heart? Please help. Thanks
