Why can't we get along?

I'm Wiccan neo-pagan. Every body just scoffs at it. It is a religion. It is a belief in which I stand firmly beside. And I will not back down from. My father is Christian my mother is Christian my whole family is christian. I have Christian friends and they accept me for who I am. Why can't we just shut up about who is right and who is wrong. I was tought thru my studies that don't go up agianst other peoples reliegion we don't like t when you do it to us so we dot do it to you. Why can't we just stop arguing and talk like humans who have a level head and calm mind?
