Is he getting sick of making the first move?

Well long story short, this guy I've been IM'ing and texting recently has basically been making the first move for some time now. He always IM's me first, but not every day, and I've only texted him once.. maybe twice. But not anymore than that. Is he getting sick of making the first move? Should I take some initiative?
