Why does our hot water run so slow and how can i fix it?

Honestly it probaly the pipes they build up which will make it nearly impossible to get any pressure the hot water tank only breaks that's it it doesn't cause any other problems water will be on the ground. Easiest thing to do is get some cpvc and redo the hot water line YouTube videos on how to install it. Very simple it's just glue to the pipes goodluck
